Definitely recommend trying the fried dumpling and steam soup dumplings. The noodle taste similar to one another, just different sauce was use.

Insane soup dumplings. Fried dumplings are excellent as well. Patience is required, but it is absolutely worth it.

The food hear is amazing best dumplings in the US I've ever tasted. People complain there only open four and half hours but that is reason why they are so good. The old lady in their makes everything hand and homemade ready to be cooked to perfection. The service might be really bad to some people, but it is really just white people being soft. Their service is like shops all around the globe and it is summarized like this. I'm serving you handmade food and your in my store, I don't have to treat you like a king or queen and if you think that you can get the fuck out my store you entitled ass bitch. Finally the store is in an Asian town with lots of great food. The inside looks of setting but the food is so good it does not even matter.

Went to eat at Lao Wang Noodle House again. Despite all the dumpling places sprouting up in town, I need to say Lao Wang is surely one of my favorites. The food here may not be as delicate and adventurous as many other places, but was the texture and taste as I remembered from childhood in Taipei, what the old timers called the unadulterated Mainland taste. Mama Wang prepared all the dumplings and noodles in house as she has done for all these years. Heard many of the frequents here have been customers here since their childhood. After trying all these other places, they still liked Mama Wang's dumplings and Xiaolongbao better. I cannot agree more.

Pot stickers are a must!!!!! Every time we go we order multiple plates. I could probably eat two of the plates by myself alone as they are so yummy! The red chili wonton soup is very yummy. I can't do spice and I actually prefer the red chili over the regular wonton soup. My husband lived in Taiwan for two years and he says this is the most authentic place he has found in the states. Just know the owner runs it all normally alone so be prepared to wait a little bit as she will take your order, make the food and take your payment. You will only have to wait a little if it's busier than normal. But sooooo worth the wait! Also, make sure to call beforehand just to make sure they are open and their hours as they have unique hours. Go go go! You won't be disappointed!

Let me start by saying that I am very onion adverse (no allergy, just don't like the flavor) which makes it hard for me to appease my husband and eat at mom and pop Asian restaurants. He has begged me to come here for a few years and I always say no because I have never found a dumpling spot that didn't use white/green onion. There was no green onion in anything in the menu and I could not see or taste white onion. Was it in there? Maybe. Did I ask? No; Ignorance is bliss. We had the soup dumplings, pot stickers, and spicy wontons. Everything was fresh, handmade in house, and delicious. If you are wanting an upscale dining experience, go somewhere else. This is a tiny store front in a shopping plaza on Federal. All the reviews talking about poor service, this is a one woman show (sometimes she has one person in there helping). She will bring you water when you sit down and come back a few moments later asking to take your order. Order everything that sounds good and order a lot of it. She will not allow you to order a second time. This place is a gem and I will definitely be back!

The soup dumplings are amazing!! We ordered the soup dumplings and the pan fried chicken dumplings. Honestly now I only order the soup dumplings. I get four baskets at a time haha. They are so hot and fresh! The soup is so savory and delicious. They have limited tables so get there sooner rather than later. Check their open times and days as well. Everyone should go and try this dumplings at least once in their life time.
